About Lilliput Electrical

NICEIC registered electricians serving Poole & Dorset since 2008

Tim, founder of Lilliput Electrical, NICEIC registered electrician in Poole

Meet Tim

Lilliput Electrical was founded in 2008 by Tim, who took the same discipline and commitment that defined a 20-year professional rugby career and applied it to a new trade.

Tim played Rugby Union at the highest level — representing his country at Under 21s and going on to play for multiple sides across the Premiership and National One leagues. After his final stint with Worcester in the Premiership, Tim decided it was time for a different kind of challenge. He retrained as a fully qualified electrician, and when he and his family relocated to the south coast, Lilliput Electrical was born — named after the Lilliput area of Poole where Tim is based.

Having spent two decades in professional sport, Tim knows what it takes to prepare properly, perform under pressure, and deliver results. He brought that mentality into electrical work with a simple promise: honest, high-quality service with a genuinely personal touch.

When you work with Lilliput Electrical, you deal with Tim directly — not a call centre, not a salesperson. From the initial quote through to the final test, you'll have one point of contact who takes pride in every job.

"I treat every home like it's my own. That means doing the job right, leaving things tidy, and making sure you understand everything before I leave."
